Ava, a young woman in present-day Iran, returns to her family’s ancestral home. Her homecoming unearths a series of long-buried emotional and historical revelations, intimately tied to place, memory, and family.

Noushin, a woman from the 1950s, navigates a world of restrictions and expectations. Torn between forbidden love and familial duty, she is forced to make a life-altering decision amidst political and social pressures.

Bahram, a once-renowned writer, now facing the twilight of his life, confronts his past, with its regrets, passions, and the literature he once used to shape meaning from silence. Through him, forgotten truths rise again.
