With the completion of the third volume of The Realm of the Silent, titled Bahram, this trilogy reaches its conclusion. Nevertheless, I remain committed-both to myself and to you-to continue presenting literary works and fulfilling my mission toward the rich literature of our beloved homeland, Iran.

Dear reader, first and foremost, I must mention that this novel is the result of years of study, research, and investigation on my part-studies that span the political, social, geographical, and historical domains of both Iran and the wider world.

The style of this novel is grounded in realism, employing a polyphonic technique similar to the previous volumes of The Realm of the Silent, weaving together multiple voices and perspectives. I have striven to blend reality with possibility, avoiding oversimplification or undue exaggeration.

Over these years, I have endeavored to present a coherent and believable narrative-a narrative that not only tells a story but also raises questions about loyalty, love, political ideals, betrayal, justice, and the consequences of human actions.

The central themes of this book include love and human relationships, loyalty and betrayal, political and social beliefs, Iranian history, geography, and their impact on individual and collective destinies. My aim has been to combine research and experience, confronting the reader with a world in which both minor and major decisions of the characters are rooted in social and cultural conditions, and their choices and mistakes shape their own fates as well as those of others.

This work, while a story, also reflects my personal concerns and experiences across various fields.
